works with the Apple magic keyboard

I love gel wrist rests but they don't work well with the low-profile Apple keyboard. The higher wrist rest put my hands in the wrong position and I made soooo many typos that it really slowed me down. This slimmer pad is just the right height. It has a nylon smell that I hope will fade, but it's washable. It's exactly what I need.
Does its job...

Prior to ordering this, I got a 3M gel wrist rest only to find that it was too thick for an apple magic keyboard. This is just the right form-factor. I use it with the magic keyboard and trackpad adjacent to one another and it's just the proper elevation.
Prior to getting this, I'd have my trackpad further away from the keyboard, not immediately next to it, because it felt cumbersome having the two against each other... but now it feels natural.
It's SLIGHTLY rough around the edges but not enough to cause any crazy irritation. If you have very sensitive skin (I do myself) you might feel some chafing, but again, mine isn't really a bother. The logo's a tad obnoxious but doesn't really bother me.
It's pretty sturdy, not soft at all, but offers minimal cushioning for your wrists, just enough so that they don't really sink into it.
If you have an apple magic keyboard and trackpad combo, this is definitely something I'd recommend.

Decent for the money, but nothing revolutionary

I purchased this to use at my work, and I'm fairly pleased with it. It measures approx. 17" long, 4" deep, and 2 or 3mm thick. This keyboard wrist rest should actually be called a wrist pad, because it's literally a mouse pad cut to a different shape, same exact material and is even the same thickness as my SteelSeries mouse pad. It was poorly packaged inside of just a thin plastic sleeve, meaning it was all folded and wrinkled inside the Amazon box, but it straightened out quickly and after a few days the wrinkles are almost gone. Freshly unwrapped and put on my desk, I was overpowered by a horrible stench coming from the wrist rest, so in hind sight I wish I had aired it out for a bit before putting it right in front of my nose for 8 hours! It is a good fit with my 104-key Keychron K1 v4.
Nice, but a little narrow.

While this pad is nice, it's a little expensive for what it is. That being said, it's also the only pad of this size and material, so I'm stuck paying what I did. I also have to gripe about the length of it. The picture you see shows that it spans the entire length of a Mac's keyboard, but standard keyboards are roughly 18.5" in length. So, while it handles 95% of my daily typing tasks, because I do a fair amount of 10-key work, it literally falls short.
The construction and material of the pad are quite nice. The top layer has a soft-neoprene feel to it and the bottom is covered in rubber so it doesn't slide around on my desk. I use it was a Das Mechanical Keyboard, so it provides just the right amount of lift for my typing style.

Best Rest for Slim Keyboards

This is my second purchase of this wrist rest. I also own the smaller touchpad one by the same manufacturer. It is perfectly designed for thin keyboards like the Apple keyboard. Thicker rests elevate the hand too much above the keyboard. This one is spot on. The working surface is smooth and comfortable; the reverse side is textured and provides reasonable traction. If you need more, you can use double sided tape to keep it in place. I take mine on the road with me when I use my wireless keyboard with my iPad for extended typing. Out of the package, there is a slight neoprene rubber smell that dissipates within a day or two.
