I bought this for my workout bike. However I took "universal" to mean it would fit a variety of seat sizes...wrong! It fits the standard cyclist bike seat...not the wider seats. I do love the color and the feel of it, though. I wish it came in a larger size! but alas it found it's way to my husband's mountain bike. BTW He loves it.

I've tried many seat covers to include one made of Temperfoam-like material which was nice in the winter but too hot in the summer. I like the sheepskin because it is cool in summer, absorbing perspiration, and warm in winter. Additionally, it protects my nice leather, Brooks bike seat from the wear and tear of riding well as sunlight. I had my last Brooks Seat, which I purchased very broken in and used, for 40 years. It's now been retired. I believe its life was extended as I always kept it covered.
When the sheepskin cover gets dirty, I wash it by hand in cold water, with Woolite, and rinse it very well. To dry it, I roll it up in a thick towel, put it in a cool dryer on cold (no heat) for one minute, with with a fabric softener square, and then hang it up indoors. It comes out soft, fresh, and clean. I literally wear off the fleece down to the leather before I purchase another.

Actually it works very well for cushioning one I washed it which made it denser. The foam underneath was discolored so not sure if someone else had used it first.
