These work as expected but you will need to run a drill bit down thru the hole to clean out excess glue in order to thread your bolt properly.

I purchased 10 of these and they are good knobs for the price. The have a dull matte finish and have a highly mass produced look about them. My technical complaint is about the base. The threads don't start until 3mm above the bottom of the base. In my application I needed the knob to catch threads as soon as possible and with this knob that is 5-6 threads sticking up to then make contact. What I did was make a jig to hold the knob at a right angle to my miter saw and I cut off 2MM of the bottom plastic. Now the knob engages with just 2 threads showing above the surface.
This is a small point but an important one if thread contact is important.
I would buy again.
