Oh.my.god! This had me so stressed! But it was totally worth it! It's so beautiful and it's just as I pictured it would be! So I ordered this on May 1st and it reached my city on 3rd, super quick right? But USPS didn't want to deliver it to my doorstep. It was so frustrating because I have a honda accord and I couldn't even imagine something 7ft long fit into my car. But I managed. So I finally gonit today and I forgot all about USPS screwing it up. It came in one piece. A little chip but your wouldn't even know it's going there! Love it!!

I'm very pleased with this purchase. Several reviews have mentioned breakage during shipping. This screen was very well packaged and suffered no damage whatsoever. I live in Alaska so it had to travel a long way. There was no objectionable odor at all upon unpacking. The screen is just beautiful. No, it is not hand carved and is obviously mass-produced but that doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't expect a work of art for the price I paid. I'm using it as a headboard. It has substantial weight so it is not likely to tip over. In fact, it is heavier than I expected and seems rather durable despite its delicate appearance. Again, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it..

Lovely piece. Built well, heavy duty! No advisable for families with children. Could easily crush a 3-4 yr old.
My only issue- one piece of wood is split obviously made with cracked wood. Too heavy and expensive to return. I will have to repair it. Not really looking forward to that. But it is a beautiful piece otherwise.

Bought this for my daughter's small apartment for some privacy in her entry way. I like it when she opens the door you dont see all the way into her small apartment. It is beautiful. Arrived securely packaged yet was light enough to carry up stairs. Looks exactly as shown in the photo, but with beautifully faux stressed wood. Sets up easily with one person straight out of the box, and is strong enough to stand safely without tipping over. She likes that she can position it exactly where she wants it as each panel individually folds or moves. She wants another one for her bedroom......I would definitely buy again.
Arrived in pieces the first time, but the second buy was worth it.

Would have been beautiful if it hadn't shown up in pieces. There was no protection at the top, between the screen and the slab of wood inserted into the end of the box. The tops of every panel were smashed to bits. What a sad waste of something potentially wonderful.
Update: Reluctantly, I tried again, and I am happy I did. The packing wasn't any better, however is was all in one piece. That said, it is a gorgeous screen, heavy and sturdy. I use it to partition my studio, and it stands sturdy on its own. I do hope they add some padding to the top of the packaging, though. It is hard to think of so many of these being wasted and crushed in shipping. I am glad I got lucky the second time around.
