I'm usually a size 8 and went with the size 10. I'm 5'7" and 165lbs, 38B bust. The size 10 fit perfectly. The dress is lovely and well made. Just be careful putting it on the first time and unlace the front and unfasten the metal detail jewelry on the front. I broke mine putting it on not paying attention. Several buyers stated it comes with the blouse and it was not stated in the description. The order I received did not have the blouse included which was the only disappointing thing.

The quality of the dirndl was as expected.
- Upper bodice nice thickness.
- Lower skirt portion was a slight bit thinner than expected but still nice. I was not aware that the floral pattern and brown fabrics were sewn together in the front and layered in the back.
- apron was thin, but nice.

All in all it is a good quality for the price and 10 times better than the other dirndl that I returned.

Sizing... I am a big girl, 5' 9", 220lbs with 38DD and I normally wear a size 18 dress. I was going to follow the recommendation of other reviews and order a size up, but they didn't have the next size up. So I took a chance and ordered my normal size 18/48 and I was glad I did. The dress was perfect in the main bodice, but I found it to be a little loose in the bust area. When I put on a padded pushup bra it filled the gap perfectly.

Length... It is not midcalf, but I am 5' 9" and expected it to be a little shorter. For me it comes just below the knee and is acceptable.

Very good and possible the only true plus size dirndl on Amazon. Great fabric on the bust and great details. Only thing that could be better is the skirt material, very cheap and blah. Otherwise great buy. Truly fits like a 22-24. Very flattering shape

I can't wait to wear this for halloween and all beerfests in my future.
This runs TRUE TO SIZE. I ordered a US 8 instead of my normal US 6, because according to other reviews this runs large, and guess what, it is one size too big. The bust and waist are slightly large but I will make the 8 work because it's too close to halloween to return for a smaller size, I will tighten the apron so the waist fits and wear a more padded bra for the chest to fit. For reference I am 6' tall, 34C, 27.5" waist and 38" hips.
Fabric is nice, very comfortable, seems very well made, the color is a dark green, not a light khaki like the picture shows and it has a pocket! Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Love it! I am 5'5, wear a 36B bra and size 31 pant.

I was happy with the size 12 that I purchased. I was thinking I should buy a 14 becuase I have larger arms and I wanted to be sure the white top fit property. In a 12 its acually a little large on me (esp the breast area). I am a bra size 36B and there is room to fit a padded push up bra. The Magic Bra Shaper was a great addition to push my girls up also-highly recommend that for this outfit.

The waist fits great and that is my smallest part of my body so it is very flattering. I cant wait to wear it to Oktoberfest this year!
