This pot is nearly perfect for stocks/soups.

Liked the size which is just larger than my big burner and has a white porcelain inside finish so you can see what is going on. The draw back is the lid handle gets hot so I use a hot pad to see my soup and the bottom is slick on the burner. Wish the bottom was rough so it would not slide when I stir a heavy soup.

Exactly what I wanted. If I had to come up with drawbacks just know that this is a very large pot. It does take up a lot of space in the dishwasher and is unwieldy to wash my hand. Other than that it doesn't stick and you can make a massive amount of stew or whatever else you want to make with it.

I Purchased this with the intention of making homemade pickles. Sadly I never bought the cucumbers to make the pickles. So I haven't actually used the pot but know that when I do it will be large enough to hold the quantity that I want to make a pickles. It would be great for making a big pot of chili or stew.
