I bought this for my fighter pilot husband because he keeps waking up in the night and thinking of things he wants to write. As long as he uses one of the colored filters, it doesn't wake me up. The white one is VERY bright.

Great light and works good. The only reason I didn't give it 5stars is that you have to click it 3 times to be able to write in the dark. I think it would be better to click once for the light on and be able to write.

The Aviator model Pilot's Pen is OK but I mistakenly ordered instead of the Nightwriter 2 Pack which it is the one I thought I had ordered. The Aviator model is a sturdily built round pen that does just as advertised, emits a bright light for writing in the dark. It's beautifully packaged with extra batteries, bulbs and changeably color lens covers. Not a thing wrong with it but it wasn't however the model I wanted & my mistake so I emailed Brita the seller and couldn't believe the amazing response; received a reply within ten minutes and advised me to return the pen for exchange. Terrific! A Great company.
