I used this purse for a Halloween costume, I was a flapper girl. Our daughter wants to use it for prom. The strap can be removed, there is a small pocket on the inside. The stones are fastened on really good. The only problem I had was my hair kept getting stuck in the chain strap, but I tucked the strap inside the purse and used it as a handbag, problem solved.

This is very pretty and would be perfect for an evening out, however, the bag feels like a shimmery fabric wrapped around cardboard. The flap to open it it really stiff and makes it hard to see inside. If being used for a prom or wedding it would be a great value. Plenty of bling and durability for an evening of glam. It was shipped promptly, covered with a fabric bag for protection.
