When I first opened the jar all the oils were on top and the grains or salts were at the bottom. It took me a while to mix it up before I could use it. It smells great of peppermint more than the rosemary. The salts really do a great job to exfoliate. Afterward, it leaves the oil on the skin to make it soft although it was a little too greasy for my liking.
