I have a 22 year old cardiac master stethoscope and it was in great shape. The outer ring was cracked. I called in asked what a replacement # part would be . I received this. It works good. I will say it does not work like before the outer ring was cracked. This could be my bad. I tried to piece an old stethoscope back together that I simply love. I will keep this as a spare and buy a new cardiac stethoscope.

My stethoscope was a birthday gift from my sister so I was loathe to part with it when the diaphragm and one earpiece broke. Being a busy physician, I never seemed to have the time to trek out to my local medical supply store and get repair parts. Then, I had the brilliant idea to check on amazon and BOOM! Order arrived promptly thru amazon prime and once again I was ready to rumble and save lives with no impaired efficiency and did't have to borrow nurse's stethoscopes anymore. I have an old littman in need of repair, the company offered to repair it for $150, this was a Much more economical way to get the same results. Comes with instructions and very easy to do yourself. Great buy!

I know this is a factory repair kit, but it would not stay on my Master Cardiology. I could get it to snap into place but as soon as I picked up the bell it would just fall off in one piece. But, the seller accepted the return without difficulty!
