It leaks like a sieve
JONATHAN LEAVITT✓ Verified Purchase•October 31, 2017
This comes from China and is not a quality product. It leaks like a sieve. The design is horrible nothing is water tight no matter how tight you put the bottom nut. If you can get the top and bottom to stop leaking with silicone the threads leak. I opted to coat every possible opening with silicone. 2 tubes and let it dry over night. Then it stopped leaking. You have to love quality silicone!!! Just by a Moen or kholer if you cant afford them save yourself the head ache and the drive back and forth to the hardware store and just start the job with 2 tubes of silicone coating every place water can and will travel.
this is a nice piece in both quality and looks

Once installed, this is a nice piece in both quality and looks. The gaskets, however are very thin. The pedestal sink on which I used this has an angled bottom underneath (terrible design), and I was not able to make it seal until I my old very thick gasket from the previous drain along with plumber's putty. The gasket may work on a standard sink, but in my case it gets 3 stars because I had to install/uninstall it about half a dozen times.
It works ok but has a few issues.

It works. The pop-up comes with some flimsy plastic washers and I could not get it to seal under the sink. Luckily my old fixture had a thick rubber washer that I reused and that did the trick. The unit also come with plastic washers to seat the upper part to the sink but when I used them it sat up about a 1/16 of an inch and i was worried it would trap a little water. So I used plumbers putty as I have in the past and it sat almost flush. But it still leaves a small puddle around the sink hole that does not drain and that will cause some calcium staining. I can clean that up with white vinegar but that and the flimsy under sink washer is why I give 3 stars. The small puddle seems to be caused by the sealing washer under the plug, if I put my fingers underneath and pull up on that washer the water drains out completely.
Loved the finish and the pop action though

Unfortunately, this was broken. I am returning it. The bottom piece would not stay on, and we could not get the screw tight. Loved the finish and the pop action though.

This piece was a good quality but didn't fit our vessel sink because it was too short to accommodate the sink, the ring between the sink as the granite, and the granite itself. Couldn't make it reach the plumbing to connect. So be careful when measuring...
