Two of the jars were fine but one was leaking through the clar plastic seal. The jar hadn't broken but the seal had failed. There was black dried stuff on the inside of the lid so I had to toss one which was a bigger Beal because I gave it to my husband as a gift. Thankfully I hadn't sent it to any far away family members who might've had to deal with it.

Two jars have only 2 weeks before experation dates expire. Mustard has a long shelf life.

Mustard is an easy way to add flavor to meals and with right amount and flavor you meals can be outstanding. This is a set of mustard that are all beer based from different varieties of Sierra Nevada beers. There are 3 different mustard flavors, a pale ale with honey spice, a porter and spicy brown, and a stout and stone-ground mustard. The bottles are a nice size and are different than other mustard you will find in the store.

My husband likes spicy brown mustard and I am a fan of honey mustard so this was a good set to try out. Overall, the beer added a more robust flavor and you could really taste the beer with undertones of the mustard. The honey pale ale had a nice light honey flavor with the biting addition of the ale, the spicy brown and porter was more mellow than expected with the addition of the porter but still a tasteful mustard and the stout and stone-ground was by far the strongest of the three with the highest mustard flavor. This is a good set, we liked all 3 flavors, and is perfect for the beer or mustard lover in your life.
