They are much longer than shown in the picture unless you don't mind wrinkling. They stayed up fine and didn't slide. I have thick thighs and short legs. Kind of on the thin side material wise but fit okay other than being too long. Would be great for someone with long legs.

This was my first pair of thigh high compression stockings after my Dr found clots in my leg due to varicose veins. I was concerned they wouldn't stay up and they didn't the first couple of days until I recognized that if I stretch them from ankle to butt the will pull themselves back down. I now bring the fabric up with no wrinkles or very little and without stretching lengthwise and I'm finding they stay put! Very comfortable and easy maintenance. I only needed compression on one leg so I bought two pair and rotate the days for each one.

I recently had knee surgery and have to wear a compression sleeve to avoid blood clots. This product is working great! I measured at the ankle, calf, and thigh and found I was a large. The sleeve is a little tight, but will stretch out some with use to be more comfortable. I am 6'4" and the sleeve goes from my ankle almost up to my hip when fully stretched out. It is also staying in place. I recommend.

I would really go ahead and buy these if you are on the fence! It is genuinely good. I have other compression stockings, socks and sleeves from Amazon that are too tight at the thighs, and not enough in my lower legs. These actually feel tighter at the ankles and comfortable at my thighs. I suffer from poor circulation from a health condition and these provided instant support, especially for my ankles that are problematic. The material is a little thick, I think its best for cool weather but should be okay for warm weather.
