I own two of these, with one more on its way. We drink a lot of loose tea and we each like to choose our own flavor, so these mugs are very convenient for us.

Why do we love them? The infuser is nice and wide, allowing the leaves to fully open. The mug holds plenty so you get a nice serving with room to spare while the leaves are steeping. The lid holds the heat in while the tea is steeping, it helps when the weather is colder. The lid also conveniently holds the infuser when you're done steeping, so no messes. Everything can go right into the dishwasher, so much easier than cleaning a teapot. Also, and this is just my personal preference, I prefer tea from a cup or mug that isn't really thick at the edge and this mug is pleasing to me. Again, just my preference. We also love the choices of colors, ours are all different.

The first mug has been through three moves so I don't feel like they're really delicate, but we haven't had any drops either.

I bought a red and an orange version of this. The cups are really nice - good quality, no flaws in the finish, and the colors are pretty. They are large, so they make a nice big cup of tea, and the handle is big and easy to hold onto. The strainer is large, so there is plenty of room for the tea to steep without being packed in. I own another cup of this style by a different manufacturer, but that one is smaller in every way and makes a much smaller cup of tea, so I have to pour through more times. Some people have mentioned that the lid is not secure - this is NOT a travel mug - if you carry the cup from the kitchen to your table the way you would normally carry a cup of very hot liquid, it is plenty secure. The lid is meant to sit on the cup during steeping, and then be taken off, turned upside down to hold the strainer. I'm very happy with this cup.

My disappointment with this infuser set is that a lot of fine tea grit gets through the stainless steel mesh and into the tea. Very unpleasant when you drink the last of the tea. I prefer the Extra Fine Mesh Loose Tea Infuser by House Again. It fits in this (and most other) mugs. I wish I'd realized the difference before I threw away the packaging for this set. If you only drink large leaf tea, you'll be happy with this product.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. The ceramic is sturdy, solid, without being too heavy. The handle is well-designed. Love this NYC cabbie color!

I especially was impressed with the quality of the stainless steel infuser. Unlike other mugs offered and reviewed on Amazon, there are no sharp edges, so I can easily wash this piece without fear of being cut.

Will be ordering a couple more because I use this one all the time...

This is an awesome mug/infuser. Very sturdy, and the infuser is excellent. Nothing was able to escape into the mug. And the mug cover also doubles as a placeholder for the infuser after use. This helps keeps drips and mess down to a minimum. I would buy this mug in every color.
