Used this all winter. It projected the heat and kept the back of the fire box clean. This baby is heavy and will stay in place once you set it up. There is no need to purchase the grate. Just flip your existing grate 90 degrees and it does the same thing.

This very sturdy plate stands up stably and works exactly as advertised. My wood burns much better than on the the wide flat grate I was using before.

Works very well, reflects heat into the room, noticeable difference. Then when the fire goes out the reflector holds the heat throughout the night continuing to heat the room. Purchase with the wood rack. Would purchase again
