I bought this shave soap for my husband. He loves it, and as it turns out, so do I! I especially love it when I travel... no liquid restrictions on this amazing shaving soap. I had always used a gel or foam to shave my legs, etc. until the day I 'borrowed' the shave soap from my husband. It smells great, lathers richly, protects my skin from knicks, razor rash and ingrown hairs and it lasts a long time!! Great product, great price, great for travel and the company has amazing customer service and support. They are a small business that follows up, makes sure you are satisfied with their products and sends complimentary coupons to try other products.

I decided to get away from shaving cream/gel in a can so I just chose this one at random from Amazon's suggestion and what other reviewers have posted. I'm glad I did.
The lather is smooth and frothy and my wife says that it smells very nice. A little bit of soap goes a long way when using it with the badger hair brush. It's been about 6 months now that I've been using it and I don't think I've even used up 1/4 of the bar. So an added plus is the money savings in the long run.

It was time for more shaving soap so I decided to try this. Glad I did! It makes a very nice smooth and creamy lather that smells great. Best of all it melts perfectly in the microwave. I melted 2 pucks in my large stainless steel bowl and you can see the result in the attached photos. (Just be careful with a metal bowl in the microwave. It has to be very smooth with no sharp edges).

Purchased this product at random. Have never used a shaving soap or brush before, but will never use shaving cream again. This is by far a superior product to any aerosol product that I have used to date. I don't know if it is the action of brushing the soap on and developing a good lather or the product itself, but I recommend this product highly.

I've only used one other brand of shaving soap, which came with a brush and dish set. This soap seems to be far superior to the other. It provides a richer lather and it lathers quickly as well. It spreads smoothly and provides a smooth. quality shave. It has a mild, but pleasant scent, and doesn't seem to leave my skin as dry as the other soap. My blades seem to last longer with this soap as well.
