We have purchased these for a low cost, easy to install solution for a fleet of vehicles that need to have some authoritative presence on occasion. The light works great and requires nothing more than plugging it into the cigarette lighter. The suction cup mounting system isn't a long-term solution, but we went with this type of light because we rotate them between vehicles as needed and I don't like have obstructions mounted in the dash when it isn't necessary.
The lights provide a good visual presence and do their job of letting people know that the vehicle is one of our official vehicles.

These are great lights, the plastic housing makes them feel cheap at first but don't be fooled. They have a memory and remember your last pattern which is great. I ended up ordering a second set to keep in my wife's car so I can respond if were driving her car. They are super bright, at night they light up the entire street as I respond. During the day most people pull over (there are those who just turn and look and won't pull over). The suction cups don't hold the best. I left them on my wife's and we put them up when needed but I used heavy double sided tape (the stuff they use on trucks to hold bed liners and ladder racks on) to mount it behind my mirror. The screws let you adjust it and get it pretty flush against the window so you don't have too much glare. I would say these are the brightest of any that other EMTs on our service have and I always get compliments on how bright and cool the pattern is.

Like most other reviews I agree that this is a great little light. It's very rare that I use it but when I need to, it gets the job done. The light is very bright and it has a wide assortment of flash patterns which should fit anyone's needs. The light does feel cheaply made but for less than $15.00, you really have nothing to complain about. If you want a solid light, pay 5 times as much for a name brand but if you just need a little something to get you to an emergency scene, this little light is perfect.

I purchased the blue lights, and installed it next to my rear view mirror . I went to a medical call at 1:19am, and used it for the first time. We live in a very rural town with no street lights. With my blue lights activated, I was impressed because a vehicle approaching me from the opposite direction,probably about 100 yards away, pulled over for me!
