I love this shofar

I love this shofar! I know it is based on an individual basis of getting a shofar, but based on the one that I was able to buy,.. it's beautiful. In a linear fashion, it's roughly around 10 inches in length, and with the curve, it's a further measurement of 15 inches. It has a little bit of a smell, of course it will because of coming from a kosher animal that was slaughtered and cleaned out... it's to be expected. Once you start using the shofar, it will build with smell because of moister inside of it, but other than that, no rotting flesh or maggots, no cracks or small chips taken out of it. I got the 14-16 inches, far enough away form your face that it's not right in your ear too. Take's a little bit of time to get use to, with a reminder of Yeshua as the fulfillment of the Feasts of God. Take care and bless you all in His name. Shalom <3

Listed as being between 12 to 14 inches along the outer curve; mine was 13 inches or so. The colors were nice and natural. At first, it did not smell, until I played it a few times, then the odor made itself known, yet not overwhelming; I store it inside a Ziploc bag. It has a nice solid sound, easy to blow. I could only get one solid note from it; I am a trumpet player. The mouthpiece area was worked well, but the small hole that extends into the horn was not centered; the horn has to be held at an odd angle, but still works.
Overall, I recommend this horn for the person who is looking to get one on a small budget or as a starter horn. It has a nice sound, the natural texture gives you that feeling of days of old. It is a Ram's Horn as best as I can determine.

My VIKING perspective

Out of the box, it plays VERY well. It is highly polished. Comes with a gold sticker "made in Israel" with more company info. Overall I say this is an amazing war-horn. Im not a Jew, I am a VIKING, and I will be blowing this at 9:00AM sharp every morning before battle.
Also, its very loud, and has a slightly high pitch tone. My other war-horn(from a Bull) is much deeper, I personally prefer this Shofars tone.

ordered a larger size(12-14) and the one I was about 9.5. for the price I suppose it's not bad but I'm definitely not satisfied with it. The mouth piece is way too small to be able to control the pitch or hold smooth not. Just unrecognizable sounds.
