Since I tried this a year ago, it's the only gluten free flour mix I will use. I make all my usual baked goods with this. You can use your regular recipe with this - the texture is, of course, different than regular flour, but the taste and texture of the finished product is really good. If you hate mixing all the other ingredients to get something that is gluten free and edible, you need to try this. Note: When I am trying a new recipe, I always get on the Cup4Cup website and look at their instructions for that type of recipe and then sort of mix my recipe and theirs to get the best result. Highly recommend this flour!
Simply the best.

This is the best gluten-free baking mix I've tried, and I've tried most of them. I've also tried a bunch of recipes to create my own mix. (yucky, truth told..) This stuff will be in my baking cabinets forever. I make scones, cookies, bread...you name it. The baked goods taste almost like they were made with regular unbleached flour. The texture is a little different, but still really, really good. Thank you Cup4Cup!
good for baking, ho-hum on nutrition

This is really an excellent substitute for wheat flour if you want to do baking and need an exact outcome -- there was literally no difference in the texture or taste of favorite baked products using this flour over wheat flour. However, this product contains milk and is mostly starch (Ingredients: Cornstarch, White rice flour, Brown rice flour, Milk powder, Tapioca starch, Potato starch, etc.) which isn't particularly nutritious. I'm looking for a brand of non-wheat flour that uses really nutritious grains to make the flour. I'm willing to "give up" exact performance equality with glutenous flours for the added nutrition. And I want it dairy free. We'll enjoy using this until it's done, or save it for baking old favorites, but will keep looking.

My husband has Celiac disease but he loves apple pie! After years of trying to make pie crust that is not chewy, doughy and heavy I discovered Cup4Cup Pie Crust Flour. I made an Apple Galette, which is simply an open-top pie. I followed directions on the package, and brushed the crust with egg wash before baking. The pie was flaky, light and buttery, like the very best pie made with gluten flour!
No more searching for special recipes!

I bought this in order to make gluten free cookies for a relative for Christmas. This is the best one I've found for that purpose. The cookies came out nice and tender and only slightly more fragile than ones made with regular flour. The cookies tasted like the original recipe instead of having the "bean flour flavor" that some of the other gluten free all purpose flours have. I definitely will continue to use this for my holiday baking for her.
