Almost perfect for low back

I just had back surgery so ordered this belt and couple of other flexible ice packs. The downside for me is that I needed the ice on my spine and with the ice packs in the two pockets, that is right where the ice isn't. But I had another flexible ice pack that I put in the middle and it works OK.

Works well for my husbands back. If you want to really cool consistently for hours, then you will want to purchase additional ice packs to rotate them through. One fill of ice packs lasts around half an hour to 30 minutes. Then it really isn't all that cold anymore

I bought this belt on August 6 and it is the best purchase I have made in a long time! I am a 55 yr old female with disk issues. I have had disk surgery and have stenosis as well as SI issues. I call it my 'ICE BELT' I can wear it driving, on the way to work or working out and it will still be cold enough after an hour + workout to strap on again and drive home.

Good belt. Fits well and is quite comfortable. Good strong Velcro. Does the job. Just wish that it came with 4 packs - 2 for microwave and 2 for freezer so that I didn't have to wait while switching from cold to heat.

This thing is a wonder. I often suffer lower back pain due to strained muscles. I had a similar belt, but it was not large enough to use, although the largest I was able to find at the time. This one has an extender that makes it large enough to go around a real good sized belly. Mine is 46 now, but at one time was 50. I believe this one would fit me when it was 50". I am also impressed with the fact that the bags can be used to apply heat as well as cold. I find that cold packs relieve the pain temporarily, but the pain returns as soon as the cold packs are removed. Heat, on the other hand, seems to me to actually help the muscle heal. I am very happy with this purchase.
