I use these on my motorcoach towed car and they work just fine. These are aluminum and most likely used on most people's toads. You need the brass transmitters for most motorcoach brass fittings on the main coach tires/wheels.

We have been using the TireMinder system on our fifth wheel RV since going full-time in 2015 and it has worked very well... even saved a lot of damage when we got a large piece of rebar through a trailer tire within the first year. Earlier this year, we traded for a 1-ton dual-rear-wheel truck and ordered six new sensors for the truck. The system has worked well until one transmitter died this week. I just got off the phone with MinderResearch. They were very easy to work with and a replace sensor is being sent out today under warranty. We will stick with the TireMinder system as long as it sticks with us!

Worked great with my existing TireMinder system. Easily replaced an existing transmitter. Just follow the instructions on page 33 of the manual. Did it in less than 5 minutes. This came with two of the nuts that hold them on and batteries.
