Would have given it 5 Stars if I actually got all the parts. Didn't get the press plate and the pressure release knob is broken...

I called myself showing off and pressed too hard and popped out the screws. Couldnt believe i broke it. Got a replacement and im Back in business. Very heavy but gets the job done. Good buy. Best thing ive used for juicing.
How much more juice can this get from pulp?

So far it seems that I'm getting 10% more juice from the pulp made by my Omega juicer. The Omega masticating juicer is excellent at making the pulp really quite dry--dryer than any other juicer I have used, so if you have a lower quality juicer you would get much more juice than the 10% I'm getting. This press is a good sturdy product. I just don't feel it was worth the 400 I paid for it. I would say try to buy this used at a much lower cost.
Gasket broke?!

I've had this for over a year now, and it worked wonderfully for about a year. A few months ago, the rubber gasket broke and the oil leaked all over the counter. They don't make it clear at all in the instruction manual where to get replacement parts.

A poorly designed juice press at an outrageous price. They place the the juice exit area where your arm is working the lever- then the lever comes down where receptacle is that holds the juice. When you start getting into the compression stage and applying force, the unit pulls forward towards you because the base of the unit ends where the lever begins. Then, once the unit is compressed, there is nothing to pull the plate down - you have to grab on to plastic somewhere and force it somehow... one cannot fathom how many egregious design errors this unit has.
When mine broke after several uses, I called the company who sold it who referred me to Welles and said they handle the warranty and service issues - called them up and the guy told me, nothing I can do for you, we're just a distributor.
Horrible product, horrible company.
Look into the Juicing Buddy for half the price.
