UPDATE!!!!
After waiting two weeks for a response to my email, I decided to give them a one star review. Amazingly within 24 hours after my review I received a response. I traded emails with customer service for a couple of days. The reason I'm giving a four star instead of a five star is that the company never took any responsibility at all!!! My email was lost by their "system" and they have an outsourced company doing their quality assurance checks. According to Zavaland, it was not their fault. I did receive a replacement within 10 days. I also received a follow up email from the company to make sure that everything was ok. Zavaland appears to be a fine company. The emails were polite and professional. They did send a replacement at no charge.

Don't waste your money. Only worked for a month. I had to replace the blade within two weeks. When the retaining pins that support the cutting blade snapped off, I contacted the company via email. NO RESPONSE. They do not back up their product.

I had a pair of these years ago when I worked as a florist. I was so happy when I came across them again on Amazon. Just a simple high quality gardening tool. Love the feel and all that it cuts. I am not not one of those gardeners who spends the time really cleaning, oiling and sharpening their tools. I do the basics and move on. These shears can take the mistreatment and keep working. Plus, I appreciate the extra blade that comes with it. Great product, would highly recommend.

These pruning shears have been truly excellent. I was concerned about paying so much, as I have always purchased "cheap" shears, but I am so glad I spent the extra money on a quality pair! I have been able to do much more pruning in my yard, simply because they are sharper and designed to cut thicker stems and branches. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to both amateur and experienced gardeners, as well as those with hand arthritis. I have arthritis and therefore not much strength in my hands, but I am amazed and what I have been able to accomplish with these shears. It is certainly true that you need high quality tools to do a job well!

Shears are high quality, sharp blade. Whats even great is they send a replacement blade, even without it, its an excellent purchase. They really feel sturdy, professional quality. I own a 20 acre farm and have used them often and on many trees and still work great. I previously bought a fiskars pair and they broke when I tried to cut about a 1/2" branch, these shears don't break, worth every penny.

The Zavaland pruning shears are exactly as advertised on Amazon. These were a replacement for high quality shears I wore out over the years and was pleased that the Zavaland met the high expectations I had when I ordered them. I used the shears immediately upon receiving them and they were comfortable to use and did a great job.
I contacted Zavaland for some information and they responded within 24 hours and supplied the information I requested. Great customer service! I would highly recommend this product to any gardener looking for comfortable high quality bypass pruning shears.
