Good introductory kit

This is a fun introduction to having a wax seal. The wax sticks were hard for me to cut, but I went ahead and did it all at once so I wouldn't have to struggle with the sticks each time I wanted to send a letter. The wax doesn't stick to the seal at all which is wonderful. It takes a little trial and error to pour the wax onto the letter in a good way but can be picked up easily. So far I have sent one letter with the wax seal on it, so I'm hoping it made it through. I have seen other reviewers say that it technically costs extra to send a letter with a seal because it is thicker and can't be automatically processed through. Time will tell. The spoon blackens easily but the soot can be wiped away without difficulty. At first I was sent the wrong seal letter, but the seller fixed the issue by sending me a replacement kit with the correct letter.

The finished result with this looks fantastic! I will agree that the key is to leave the stamp in the wax after stamping until the wax dries. The stamp then comes out perfectly cleanly, leaving no wax on the stamp and a very clear seal. No problems recommending this to anyone!
Note: I should add that I have not yet used the wax that came with this stamp - I've been using FQL 1 Bottle Of Star Shape Sealing Wax Sticks Beads For Wax Seal Stamp (Chinese Red) and it looks great!

I helped my cousin raise her daughter and when she was going away to college, I asked if she would write to me. Even though she was only going abut 3 hours away and texting is a thing, I wanted to have this special thing with her. She told me she would only write to me if she had a wax seal....(this kid!) As I've always wanted one myself, I said yes! I got her and E and myself an M. So we have been writing for months now and these have been great so far! though, I must confess, after reading reviews, I decided to forego the spoon and candle and just use a lighter to melt the wax and let it drip on the envelope. That works fine. Less mess as you don't need to clean the spoon.

I purchased this product for my daughters Graduation announcements. Is arrived fast. I received everything as it was advertised. I am satisfied with my purchase. The seal is firm and it is easy to hold, handle and use. I would order from the company again when I'm ready for different seal styles. The picture has smudges on the box from my grandkids helping me and getting spot on their hands from the wax spoon after melting the wax we used.
