Easy to install and connect
Stephen G. Blitch•April 22, 2016
Easy to install and connect, works exactly as advertised. I have mine connected to two separate Aiphone video monitor/doorbell units mounted on outside gates. Both pushbuttons activate this remote bell when pressed (separately).

Added this product to an existing Aiphone system. Works well and can be heard easily by staff but unobtrusive to the office environment. Volume select switch is nice little feature.
Loud but not super loud
Anthony•January 18, 2014
This extension is easy to wire up to an Aiphone intercom system and is worth having if you need coverage away from your station. We mounted two in our office, one in the warehouse where the chime can be heard but it is not as loud as I'd like. The other in the office space is plenty loud at the middle setting (there are 3, low medium, and high).
A couple of notes, the screws that come with it are pretty crummy steel and overly long. They stripped fairly easily going into plastic LV boxes due to the friction fit. It's not a big knock, most included fastners are easy to strip with a decent hardened driver. I replaced them with some crown bolt screws and that solved my aesthetic issue.
Note, it plays the same chime as your base does.
