A must have for your kitchen.

I received a couple of these peelers as a favor at a Tupperware Party years ago. Sadly, we lost one at some point, probably during one of our many moves. We are recently retired and have purchased an RV. Of course, we are stocking it with all needed supplies and a fruit peeler is something we have to have. I was so pleased to find this set on Amazon, and happy that they are the same as the old ones. Although the color is a little different, they function the same way and make peeling an orange an easy task.

You may not think you need this, but if you like oranges, lemons, grapefruit, etc. you'll be amazed at how mush easier it is to peel the fruit. One end has a cutter that pierces and splits the skin of the fruit, but is completely safe for human hands. It only goes through the skin of the fruit without cutting the fruit inside. The other end is used to peel the skin away, along with the outer pulpy stuff. The result is whole, intact fruit sections . The device will last for years. I bought more to give to family and friends.

I used to get these for free when I attended Tupperware parties in the '70's. I left mine behind when I got divorced and was glad to find them for purchase. I have one in my desk at work, one in my lunch bag and two in my kitchen drawer at home. It's so funny that my (young) co-workers laugh and wonder what the heck I'm doing to my orange with that silly thing. I am not sure they believed me that it was designed for peeling oranges!

I am so happy to have these again. I use to have a yellow one that I got from Tupperware in the 70's and missed having it because it makes peeling an orange so very easy. I received 4 pretty blue ones and absolutely love them. No more citrus under my finger nails. LOL! Buy them you will love them.

Tupperware Citrus Peeler is still number one, even after all these years! It's human nature to always look for something "better", "newer", and I did that. I went back to Tupperware after my husband complained of the expensive citrus peeler bent because the plastic was too soft and thin. He seldom make comments nor notice things, but these peelers made a good impression on him!
