Bad oil filter

I have done my own oil changes for well over 30 years. After I put this filter on and turn the car on, the entire oil of the car got dumped on the drive way. I had never seen this before. The filter had a bad thread or some strange thing wrong with it. It took me half a day just clean up the mess and just go get a regular Fram oil filter. Never buy this filter again. So much for the genuine Nissan oil filter.

Great filter for my 3750 mile OCI of my 370z. Can't beat the value and quality you get from OE. Keeps the Quaker State ultimate durability nice and clean.

Mine did not come with a crush washer as others have stated. Disappointed. Will have to go to the dealer and buy a half a dozen or so. I will buy this filter again but next time I will have my own washer, don't count on your filter coming with one.
