the strike gets sucked up against the mag lock
M---•July 7, 2015
Shear action mag lock does what it claims to do. The strike pad is partly mounted on springs-- when the lock activates, the strike gets sucked up against the mag lock, and matching indentations/protrusions on both surfaces prevent it from sliding apart. Note that there is a little bit of play, but it's quite secure-- the bond is very strong.
