I had about 6 months of dependable use with this razor until, one morning, I couldn't unscrew it to release the blade. I even tried using a wrench to unscrew it but it wouldn't budge. I bought another one about a year later and I'm still using it (I'm going on 1 year) and have not had any problems. It is definitely a cheap razor, though. The head is not very straight where it contacts the blade edge. If I look closely, I can see the blade curve ever so slightly toward one end which no doubt causes some irritation. Still, for the price, it gets the job done. I will definitely invest in a higher-quality product after this one croaks.

Works perfectly. Easy to use, just as good as or better than my Gillette fusion. And cheaper t replace the blade for sure!

Good Price, Start Saving on Shaving

If you are looking for a way to save on shaving, this is a way to do it but you got to be patient. Using a safety razor especially this one does take time to get angling and pressure down so you can shave with minimal shaving bumps or nics from shaving. I like the MicroTouch One, it is a heavier comparable version to the Weishi that was my first safety razor. The blades that came with it are ones I use. I do have to say you need to use canned foam, shave butter, tubed shave cream or shave soap to really get the best shave from this.
That said, it is a harsher cut and more prone to cutting me with the same blades that I use on my Weishi of comparable style.

Great safety razor for a great price

I was skeptical of this product because of the mixed reviews I read.
For me this safety razor is wonderful. I switched from regular razors to this and it's the only one of this kind I've used so I couldn't tell if it's bad compared to other safety razors. Below I will list some pros and cons of my experience with this product:
Pros
-Has a good weight to it.
-Very shiny / stylish.
-Easy to transition to.
-Easy to use.
-Each blade lasts a long long time.
-Good bye razor burn / ingrown hairs.
Cons
-Haven't found any.
Again, I can't compare this to other safety razors since it's the first and only one I've used. All I can say is I love it and I wouldn't switch back for anything. No more ingrown hair or razor burn. I recommend this product 100% to anyone looking to purchase or try a safety razor.
