I purchased this as a gift for a 10 year old boy and he absolutely loved it. He loves the smoothness of the turn, and the ability to pop out pieces and put them back in the right place. I gave this to my niece and not only does she love it, but her mom wants one in silver to use as home decor. When my niece first mixed it up, she love thought it looked like some kind of ultra modern, sci-fi apartmenr complex and thought it was so beautiful that she didn't mind if she never solved it. It's nice to look at and it's such an interesting puzzle. The whole family tried to mess with it and nearly two weeks later, she has spent hours and hours just attempting to match up one row and can't do it. I will definitely order the silver one for her mom as a birthday gift!

I just got this in the mail yesterday and I can already say I love this. Out of the box, you know you're in for a run when handling this puzzle. When mixed up, the puzzle seems as though it came from another world. Seems impossible, but once you get it down, is actually quite easy/fun.
Right out of the box the cube turns great, but requires all of the pieces to be perfectly aligned to turn. The pieces are sturdy and do not pop out. I have been using this all day continuously and have accidentally dropped in many times. I can say with a safe bet that it is a very sturdy "cube."

Beautiful Toy - I recently taught myself how to solve my daughter's standard Rubiks cube, and I bought this for her for her birthday (for me to solve too :) It is amazing...I was a little intimidated, but it solves exactly the same way. But it really challenges your brain, because as you work through the algorithms, you are paying attention to the 3-dimensional size and shape of each piece instead of the color combos. Super fun! Also, this Rubiks cube has a very nice, smooth easy movement, and the gold stickers are high quality and very lovely. I highly recommend this to any Rubiks enthusiast.
Buttery Smooth Cube with an Executive Look!

As a cuber, I first saw this and figured it was more of a novelty/collector's cube that would sit on my desk and not get played with, but would look cool and be a conversation piece. It actually turns out to be a very smooth functioning cube. It turns just as smoothly if not smoother than my regular Shengshou 3x3, and the gold metallic stickers look pretty boss sitting in my office at work. The one cool thing about this is that the metallic stickers have a sort of "grain" to them, like wood. So if you want an extra challenge, you can solve it like a super cube and try to orient the centers to match the adjacent edge pieces. Piece identification is pretty tricky at first, and my first solve took me a good 6 or 7 minutes, but once you do it a few times you pick up a few tricks for how to identify certain edges/corners and you can get pretty quick with it.
