Great and fast acting. I try to be holistic in my approach but know that sometimes, my baby's diaper rash needs extra help and immediate action. Enter this product. I use it with my breastmilk. While changing my LO, I pour some freshly expressed breastmilk (not refrigerated but room temperature) and let it dry a little bit then put some desitin (a little goes A LOOOOONG WAY!) and let it dry a little and viola! By the next diaper change, the rash is significantly less and completely gone by the next 2-3 diaper change. Also, this cream is so thick so really put very little on your finger first and add more as you go.

Heat rash didn't stand a chance with this paste. It's not just for baby butts. Spread a little layer where skin touches skin before you exercise and no raw skin when you are finished. It works great when I smash the girls into a sports bra, no rash under the boobies.

After a case of severe diaper rash and a trip to urgent care, a nurse gave me a recipe for 'magic butt paste'. Mix Desitin max strength and a little maalox. Smear on the worst looking diaper rashes and they will clear up fast. It really is awesome. Evidently the little bodies create a lot of acid when they are teething and that comes out and tears up their little bottoms. Keeping this mix helps to neutralize the worst of it and has cleared up some very sore bums. We keep a little tupperware of this magic in the fridge and use it as needed.

the only other diaper rash cream i have seen with 40% zinc oxide is butt paste and it is much thicker than this but does the same job. This cleared my babys bum in about 24 hours and is nice and creamy and does not have a strong smell. Very happy.

no complaints whatsoever, product is great my baby hasn't had any irritations. And the paste spreads evenly, they seem to have changed the formula from the original strength blue tube, as this one is not so thick, but not as creamy as the light blue one, still it spreads and protects. Compared to the creamy one, this one does leave a thicker residue, as at bath time I make sure that the residue goes away with this one (creamy one kinda fades away after diaper change).
