Excellent gun, handles sausage caulking with ease, just bare finger pressure is enough. Didn't test the cartridge function but I can imagine it will be just fine.

I liked the gun at first but after a few uses I worked a bolt loose and made the gun difficult to use just had to play with it a little once I got everything tightened up it's a great caulking gun
