Yes it is somewhat cheaply made, but it doesn't take much - it's pretty basic. Not a lot of technology needed. That said, it works great! I've used it many times. My only beef with it - is that it gets VERY hot! It makes sense because you essentially have a light bulb in a little box with no (or very little) aeration. It would be a bit better if it could breathe a bit, but still - never had a fire or anything - just seemed like it might eventually. Overall 4 of 5 stars!

My wife enjoys making stain glass and got this projector to add art to her templates. She really likes this purchase because it does what it says it will do. She was up until 3:00am enjoying this thing. She does say that the bulb gets extremely hot and that she plans to change it out with an LED. I think that this projector will get a lot of use and bring great value to my wife and her hobby.
