Very interesting!

I had never had this juice before and wanted to use it in a marinade recipe. I really like that there is NO added sugars or sweeteners in it. The taste is rather tart and similar to an American lime but with its own unique flavor. My marinade came out great and the meal was delicious! I will definitely try this again.
It's 100 % calamansi juice.

Calamansi is a fruit tree native to the Philippines. It's used in just about every Filipino dish as a marinade or sauce. I have used this for many dishes and drinks it is very versatile! The flavor is a tart combination of lemon, lime and orange and it's really DELICIOUS. It's concentrated so you don't need a lot. If I ever run out of fresh limes or lemons I use this as a backup and it lasts a long time! Another plus is it's made in the Philippines.

Adds a fresh twist on citrus to recipes

Used it in a peach pie and it kept the peach color very fresh. The flavor was good and a nice twist on the lemon juice I always use. Still learning how to adapt it for my recipes so I may use 2 TBSP instead of 3 TBSP next time. Substituted it in fresh strawberry jam and it took the flavor to another level - berries tased very fresh. Got this tip from the mom picking berries in the next row to me. Really enjoyed offering a new variation that kept the jam from being too sweet and kept the just picked cool of the fruit.
