I was a little hesitant in purchasing yet another leather cleaner since, historically, I've been less than dazzled with the results.
But I decided on this conditioner (along with their leather cleaner) based, somewhat, on other reviews.
I have to say I'm finally quite impressed. So far, I've used the conditioner on two pair of new shoes, two leather bar stool seats, a pair of lightly used shoes and a leather iPhone case.
For the new shoes, I didn't use the cleaner. I basically just wanted to provide some water proofing so I used only the conditioner. They turned out looking great. Perhaps a 1/3 shade darker than before once they dried.
The other items listed were cleaned with the TriNova cleaner first. The bar stools turned out looking like the day I bought them. The used shoes weren't bad to begin with. I mainly just wanted to water proof them.
But they look great, too. And the iPhone case cleaned up great and, thankfully, left its nice patina. I'm very happy with the Nova cleaner and conditioner.

I purchased this product about two weeks ago, and the first shoes I tried it out on were my Sperry Men's Gold SPT ASV Leather Chukka Boots. I didn't see a lot of improvement so I wasn't really impressed. Then I read the fine print - "not suitable for suede." Sadly, it appears that my Sperry's are partially suede :/

That being said - the other full leather shoes I tried this product on? SIMPLY AWESOME! It really does indeed make your shoes and boots shiny and soft, and I used it on my leather jacket as well. As far as I'm concerned, this product really does what it says it will do for your leather goods: it restores, conditions & protects all types of leather furniture.

Now if they can just make something for suede as well.
Good conditioner, worked well on leather and ray skin. Recommend this fine oil that goes right in

Seems like a good conditioner. I used it on a dakota leather hat and an old buffalo skin hat and it made the hats look good. I used it on a leather and ray skin sword scabbard and a ray skin handle and it worked well on that and the ray skin perked right up and a dried out but not yet damaged leather strap seemed to get renewed. It is a smooth flowing fine oil that seems to go right into the leather. Now without a laboratory analysis of the actual oil these are just opinions but I guess an observation of how it works is next best. Unless somebody has some laboratory data that contradicts this I would recommend it . I don't know why one would pay a lot more for some other oil without such proof.
Excellent product! Restored a very old and marked up ...

Excellent product! Restored a very old and marked up leather purse - taking away all the scratch marks. The leather was light beige and I used too much of this product on it so it turned the front of the purse to a darker beige - I am hoping it will lighten over time. On the back I used the right amount and the color did not change. I just needed to believe in this product and not have put too much on and it would not have affected the leather's color. If I had followed the directions better the leather would have staid the same color.. I had tried several other products before this one and none of them worked. This product turned a very old purse into a new one. I am very pleased with it and will be using it on more of my purses and leather goods. I highly recommend it.

Out of the gate, I want to say I bought this product myself, paid full-price, and was NOT part of any free or discounted sample in exchange for a review. Nothing against those "professional reviewers", but try as you might, free products buy you a little bit of bias...

About 8 years ago I purchased a beautiful Chateau d'Ax chair and ottoman in a medium-dark brown. For the last 6 years, the chair's been positioned in a spot that catches the morning and early afternoon sunlight through a window that's about 18 inches away. About a year ago, the sun's bleaching became really apparent, and after one attempt to restore some luster with Mother's leather conditioner (a product I normally use for car seats, but it left my fine leather chair with a whitish film) I decided to give Leather Nova a shot based on mostly positive reviews.

Goals:
1. Get rid of the white film/haze, especially on the bottom cushion - CHECK
2. Darken the chair to its original color, of at least close to it - CHECK (for the most part, more on that later)
3. Improve the condition of the leather, which was feeling dry to the touch - CHECK

The Process:
First I used a damp, slightly soapy (Dove) terrycloth towel to clean the entire chair/ottoman, then I let them dry. Next, I used the accompanying sponge to put a thin coating over the entire chair and ottoman, let it dry/absorb for an hour or so, then ran a microfiber cloth over them to "buff" them. I then applied a second coat to the most faded areas of the chair, which did absorb well and darkened the areas another couple shades, as I'd hoped. Again I waited, only about 30 minutes this time, and buffed with a new, clean microfiber cloth. I used about 1/3 of the bottle total through the 1-1/2 applications.

The results:
I am VERY pleased with the renewed look and feel of the chair and ottoman. I feel terribly guilty about neglecting the chair for so long, and am quite relieved that I was able to bring it back to not quite new, but darn close to it, condition. Some have mentioned the product brought back the new leather smell...the conditioner has a faint scent, certainly nothing objectionable, and to my nose it's not a strong leathery smell. Perhaps more of an aniline dye smell, though there is no dye in the clear solution. I'm sitting in the chair as I type this, and the scent is faint and mostly pleasant.

Next steps:
I plan to continue to condition the chair at regular intervals, probably not the 30 day cycle the bottle recommends, and will treat the panels that take on the sun's rays more often to keep the leather nourished and dark. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the conditioner/restorer works on the perforated leather seats in my car.

Attaching some pictures of the chair I referenced.
