Saved me money!!!

This roll of tape saved me from calling a plumber to fix a small leak under my kitchen sink. Every time i ran the water I'd get a slow drip from the lead pipe feeding into the goose neck.I had to keep a bucket under the sink and was ready to call a plumber then i came across this amazing tape. if you follow the simple instructions to use this tape correctly it will solve small problems. A few wraps around the pipe with a waiting time of a few hours and the leak was no more. I have no idea how much a plumber would have charged but it would have been a whole heck of a lot more than the the cost of this tape. I actually purchased a second roll for those "just in case" moments that might occur. Even if you're not having a problem now you should keep a roll of this tape around as it just might come in handy. I also used it on a garden hose i was about to throw out, problem solved, Buy this tape!
Amazing!

This stuff is amazing! While digging a trench to install a French drain system in my yard a friend accidentally cut through my in-ground sprinkler system line. The irrigation company will come out and fix it for $75.00.....but from what I've heard they simply use some kind of tape to fix it as well. I figured why not try this. I taped it around the cut pipe and wrapped it around 3 times. I then sprayed some sealant (leak-seal) around the tape. I let it sit overnight and buried it in the next morning. I turned on the sprinkler system a few hours later (about 12 hours after taping it) and it functioned perfectly. Keep in mind this is 70 PSI of water flowing through the pipe! Amazing! I only took one star off because I'm not sure if it will last, but it's been a week and it's going strong!

This stuff is awesome. Every time I see the roll, I'm trying to think of things I could possibly use it on. I first used it to repair the little plastic piece which had cracked off my curling iron handle. This always happens to them and I have typically put a couple bandaids on. They last awhile and then need to be replaced. I put the broken piece back on, wrapped it tight with X-treme tape and I do believe the heating element will die before the handle ever becomes a problem again. It's heat resistant and it is very cool the way it fuses to itself requiring no glue or other adhesive to secure the end. After my first use, I had to immediately give the roll to my son and buy myself another. I can't wait to think of more uses! I may have to buy all my Christmas gift recipients a roll, it's so awesome!
Great But Still Have A Slight Leak

I have only used one section of this tape so far and I don't find it as "X-Treme" as advertised. I have used this small section for my new showerhead that doesn't go on quite all the way with my shower head piping coming out of my wall. While this 'tape' may be the best quality out there (says it was originally developed for the military in the packaging), among other brands of the same material tape (and there's many), it still doesn't offer a 100% leak seal with just a small amount of tape. It performs better then electrical tape for my use as described but still allows a little bit of the leak to come through.
The packaging states that for an even better result you should use a second wrapping. Well, if a good foot can't 100% stop a very, very minor leak on a plumbing connection then why should I need two feet?
Great tape nonetheless and I do indeed believe it's the best quality on the market. No adhesive means it works better and it does indeed self seal very good, just not perfectly.
