A little bigger than I anticipated but it did the job how I hoped it would! I didn't like how the surfboard was angled when set in the mount (I think my surfboard at 5'2" was a little small for the mount) so I used a makeshift cushion to sit it up right better. I haven't thought of a better way to fix that problem but I would not blame that on the quality of the product.
Wish it was cheaper, but can't complain
