The cheese was warm to the touch upon delivery. Three small ice packs in a foil bag inside a box with a few packing peanuts and the ice packs were completely thawed out and warm to the touch.

It tasted good with a mild nutty flavor, more flavor than basic mozz. It's $15 a lb. Too much. It's not aged Parmigiana. Give me a break. I don't live in Detroit so I don't know if this is one of those crazy Amazon mark ups or this is a normal price.

I ordered this after watching a cooking video about Detroit Pan Pizza. It's impossible to find here in Arizona. The shipping was great! The cheese arrived cold and when I made the pizza, everyone raved about the flavor and texture of this cheese. It almost reminded me of cheese curds, but gooey, just right salty and the melt on the pizza, especially on the edges was out of this world! Definitely worth the treat and nothing else would work as well on Detroit pizza!
