this is a nice thick checkbook holder - I don't understand how people get your c.card info through
your accessories, but I didn't want to find out the hard way.

I ordered this for those times when I am carrying a smaller hand bag. It is very well constructed and holds several credit cards/ID and has a nice, clear pocket for cash or check book. This one is a keeper!

Wonderful product & was received exactly when expected (Hawaii is the most remote archipelago in the world and shipments are almost always tardy - but not yet with Amazon's suppliers!). It is exactly as described! The Navy Blue is very dark and just discernible from other planners, etc that are similarly sized and black! I have yet to put it thru airport inspection, but I mainly got it as a superior checkbook cover and seldom fly anymore due to health problems.
I inserted a stiff cardboard folded down the middle in the compartment behind the credit card slots. I insert the cover of my check register in the compartment with 1/2 of the cardboard protruding, which provides a smooth surface on which to record everything in the register. I'm probably using it "backwards", but I like to fold my gas receipts so I can view the last three, on which I've recorded the mileage. The cover comes with a soft plastic for this, but I really stuff the credit card slots and need a firmer surface.
The "window side receipts" afford an indicator of when to change oil. I use Castrol Syntech - originally rated for 20,000 miles! They now say 12,000 after the auto makers and garages grumbled because they were loosing oil change business, I change my oil when gas mileage drops off more than 10% for no apparent reason (like driving the road to Hana or to the summit of Haleakala - the steepest paved assent in the world!). This usually occurs at about15,000 - 16,000 mile intervals.
I hate the cheap plastic covers!! They always crack because I rig them with rubber bands to mark the page on which I'm registering and my last balance point, Buy this unit - you will enjoy it for many years I'm sure!
