Very easy to set up and use. Great customer service from BCA when I broke the little clip on the back of the radio. They responded to my email within the day and had a free replacement to me by the end of the week.

Works fantastically, however I cannon hear it over my snowmobile which is what I got it for. I have to turn the sled off to use the radio.

Safety is a huge part of the backcountry and when it's possible to get separated from the guys I like knowing my BCA radio keeps me connected. The battery lasts all day, it's lightweight and can handle a beating in my pack. Highly recommend this radio.

These are very nice, high quality radios. The volume can get loud enough to hear over the engine noise of my snowmobile and the optional headphone jack is nice if you want to have an earbud in instead. The range is great. I can't give a specific distance, but we never found ourselves out of range from one another. As other reviewers have said, the channel selector knob can get bumped while queuing the mic. We set our channels in groups so it would have to get bumped multiple times to be on a different frequency; so while slightly annoying, it is certainly not a deal breaker. My biggest disappointment is the amount of wind noise it picks up. We pretty much have to be completely stopped or barely crawling in order for the other person to understand what we are saying. If anyone has ideas on how to reduce the wind noise, I'd love to hear them. All in all these are a great solution for communication while snowmobiling. As long as you are okay with stopping to talk (probably safer anyway), then I highly recommend these.

Great product, while your out snowmobiling you can hear you radio over the motor noise. Great range and easily stay in contact with your friends while riding. Would reccomend to anyone out in the winter or summer in large groups.
