It's ok. Not super sharp or durable, blade dings easily. Tried to sharpen it with a dremel grinding wheel but didn't have much luck, probably still got it sharper than it came though.

I did a lot of research and found that this is the best purchase for the price. It's a little heavier than most but that is to be expected due to the "hammer" addition on the opposite end of the blade.
The reason I didn't give it five star is because it does not come with a sheath and that the head is 3/8" away from the end of the top of the handel (some pictures attached show others who don't have much room either). I know it's not going anywhere but it's an aesthetic issue.

great woodman tool, helpful in camping, chopping small to medium logs, and hammer side is good for setting up camp. CRKT makes a great product for a reasonable price have always been happy with their knives and tools
and the finish on that nice hickory handle was sad

As others have said, it's probably the dullest edged tool I've ever purchased. It took some bit of effort to get it sharp, and the finish on that nice hickory handle was sad. But after refinishing the handle and spending an hour with a file, it's a serviceable tool.

So far, super durable, used the hell out of it, not even a knick in the blade. Going to replace handle of both, (I bought the 2735 with pointed end as well) of the handles with a home made heavier wood handle.
