great traveling case except the diameters are off on the descriptions hence 4/5 stars. if you plan to use for your UV light for your nails the UV light won't fit at the larger area. the UV light i have is "sunuv" by amazon which is 8inches wide. i've tried multiple ways of trying to fit it but it won't work. if the side boxes were removable it would fit perfectly. other than that this is a sturdy great case for makeup, nails, or other needs just not for me since i would prefer something alittle bigger but i would highly recommend if you're looking to store more smaller items (less than 8in wide)

I gave this as a gift and filled it with all kinds of nail polish and nail products. I wrapped it with clear cellophane and gave it as a gift. I also have one and love love love it. I like keeping all my nail stuff in one place. I just grab the box and have everything I need and don't have to hunt for stuff. I like how the box folds open so you can see everything inside as you are working. I have had mine for years and it is still in perfect shape.

This case is strong and durable! It's going to last! It has great organization and holds so many products and beauty tools. It opens, unfolds, refolds, closes, and latches with ease most of the time- however, the drawers on the side do have the screws get stuck occasionally and then you have to work with them to unfold them and get them into place. The bottom is deep to hold bigger things. The latch is strong and even when it's just being held by the handle and is full and heavy, I have confidence in that it will hold and everything inside will be safe; there's never been a fear of it opening unless I'm unlatching it. The dividers inside are inserted with strength and nothing will shift around them, keeping everything organized as placed. We've traveled extensively with the case, even dropping it a few times, and nothing has ever gotten broken or moved, and the case has held up well- it doesn't scratch, but it does dent. It also is not lightweight and gets heavy when filled.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for for my art supplies! I looked at many Caboodles-type boxes but the expandable trays' swing was perpendicular to the lid's swing and the storage trays were the width of the box and square. I was looking for something where the hinged trays were the length of the box (not an easy find) and the box wasn't over-decorated and gaudy.
This box is perfect. The frame is aluminum but the panels are plastic. All of my on-the-road art essentials fit perfectly, leaving plenty of room for more items. My preferred materials are colored pencil and water color. I can easily fit two watercolor field kits, set of colored pencils, water basins, all my water brushes and paint brushes, blending tools, erasers, two travel reservoirs (cleaning and wetting), travel-size spray bottle to mist the watercolor pans, two mixing pans, cleaning cloths and mini container of Gamasol and so much more.
While the box isn't of great quality, it certainly is worth the price, especially compared to specialty storage cases and others that were close but not quite what I wanted. I'm very, very happy with my purchase and am looking to get another for some other supplies.
