LIFE SAVER!

If you are having a mastectomy, or know someone who is, buy this camisole now! I had my surgery in December and this was my favorite garment to wear while my drains were still in. I even slept in it. It kept everything close to me at night so I didn't have to worry about tugging on anything in my sleep. I don't know why the doctors don't tell women about these. I first bought another brand in a Medium, and it was more fitted. I didn't like that so much on my skin. So then I bought this one in Large and loved that it had no gathering under the breast. I'm normally a medium, sometimes small, and I bought this in a large due to my experience with the other brand. I think a medium in this would have been fine because there is no line under the breasts. You will be so happy you got this. I loved it and will but it again for any friend having this procedure. I even told the shop in my hospital about this brand. So soft and comforting when you need it most!
Glad I had it!

The Post Mastectomy Camisole with Breast Forms and Drain Pockets was great to have. Normally ,I was a 40 DD or 42 D. I am 4'5". I normally wear a 12 in tops/ Large. So I bought a large. It was too big even after I washed it. However, I am so glad I have it. It did not give me support but it did give me a cami with pockets for my drains. The pockets were the right size for my drains. My doc only gave me a sport bra after the surgery not a place to put drains and to conceal them. I have heard that some Doc do give a cami with pockets so asked you doc before ordering. I will have reconstruction later and will need to use it again.
A must have!

A definite must have post mastectomy! Nurses and drs approved! Would have given 5 stars, but they are a little short. Tubes hang out the bottom and a longer shirt over is a must. Ordered two and before the first was worn one had to repair the velcro. The only other advice I can give is make sure to close up the velcro before putting into the washer and tug and stretch before hanging to dry.
THE most useful post-mastectomy item

If you are facing a mastectomy with drains, you need this camisole. It was my most valued post-mastectomy item by far. I ordered it from Amazon and packed it in my bag for the hospital. When the nurse came into my room after surgery with 4 safety pins for my drains, my husband pulled out this soft cozy camisole, and I easily slipped into it, put my 4 drain bags in the pockets, and closed the velcro front closure. It was a wondeful improvement over the hospital plan. I am so happy that I discovered this comfortable and necessary camisole!
When I returned home, I was better able to manage my drains with the camisole, and it was easy to wear under my button down shirts. I wore this non-stop day and night (except for washing) for 2 weeks while I had my drains. I can't even imagine how I would have managed my drains without it!
The breast pads were a nice plus because they helped make my appearance more normal for my young grandchildren when they visited. That is the only time I wore them, but I was very happy to have them for that first visit with them before reconstruction.

Life saver after double mastectomy

This top was a life saver after my double mastectomy. I ended up with 4 drains, and the drain tubes hang down and are a real pain. This top had 4 inner pockets and I don't know what I would have done without it. It opens in the front with velcro.
I'd recommend this to anyone facing mastectomy surgery.
I'd recommend buying a little on the larger side, because the drain bulbs take up a lot of space, and makes it harder to close with them all in the top.
