Bought these to put on waiting room chairs legs to mask noise they make. The openings were not large enough so had to make them bigger. They worked well.

The pre-cut openings are very small, maybe fine for a 1/2" diameter post.
My application was for posts that were approx. 3/4"x2" rectangle and I needed to re-cut the openings ... hard to do with razor-blade and at an angle not easy for the pre-cut shape these come with. Not a happy solution and I am looking for a better solution for my unique application.

I bought several sets of these, for my walker, after I recuperated from a broken Femur. I had some from a store, but they had a square cross cut. These have 3 slits cut in them, so they fit perfectly.

these work pretty well on my daughter's high chair. however, i did have to take a pocket knife to them to widen the openings when i bought them to avoid taking a pocket knife to tennis balls.

It's a great premise - precut tennis balls, but the precut "X" was actually not cut though all the way and was not a big enough "X" to fit over the bottom of the walker. I had to pull out a pair of scissors and spend time lengthening and widening the cuts. I'll probably just stick with tennis balls next time, though these blue walker balls are a bit firmer than regular tennis balls so that is one positive.
