Great Supplement for Bottle Feeding!

We use these drops in our baby's bottles to supplement with Vitamin D. Seem to be working well and we plan to continue until moving to solids. There are a few different flavors out there, so this one was clear (the previous kind we had was slightly brown) - so keep in mind its the same ingredients, just no flavoring :)
Don't get on clothes

My baby seems to like it well enough. I went with this one so that I had some wiggle room on dosing mistakes. I'm pretty uncoordinated and I don't trust myself with the brands that require only one drop. I need more diluted drops. I was originally going to give it 3 stars because of how hard it is to get my baby to swallow the whole ml and how easily it stains clothes. But I spilled it on a wooden table and holy cow it makes some of the best wood polish I've ever seen. I'll give it an extra star for that.
Wish it had a better lid

Taste: Kind of a medicinal artificial fruit flavor. It's not sweet, but not terrible. My breastfed baby makes faces when I give it to him straight, but takes it without fighting it.

Color and consistency: A runny light brown liquid. If you are giving it when the baby is in a light shirt, be sure to have a bib or paper towel handy. Some always gets spit back out or runs down his chin, and you end up with a brown spot on white shirts. Of course babies always end up with dirty shirts, but I'd rather an uncolored version.

Packaging: Here's where I knock off a star. I wish this had a stopper in the bottle with a port for the syringe to limit spill potential. Since this is intended for babies, you have to expect that there will be some flailing arms involved in dosing. To avoid spill risk I have to place the bottle well out of reach, which was particularly awkward when I was giving it to a baby who couldn't sit up yet and would be laying on the floor or in my lap while getting his dose. It is less of an issue now that he can sit in a high chair while I load the dropper, but I still worry about knocking it over myself! The syringe itself also feels a bit flimsy, although its long, thin design means it easily reaches the bottom of the bottle and fits into little mouths.
my ped recommends this

The viamin D version was prescribed by her doctor then I found out by pharmacist that it can be purchased over-the-counter. I did some research and found this Tri version (even better). This is a good brand that i trust. Was originally prescribed for my newborn, my two toddlers love it, too.
Better than the Average Prenatal!

These are the only prenatals I can find that contain choline, which is known to help reduce the chance of birth defects. I don't know why it is not commonly found in other prenatals but I'll only be purchasing Enfamil Expecta from now on.
