This bag is certainly what it is described as being. It is a camera bag. I would not use it as my primary camera bag, but for a bunch of my extra accessories, it is fine. Yes it is padded, but not nearly as much I would want it to be padded for carrying my expensive camera body, or my expensive lenses. The adjustable dividers do a good job of breaking the bag up into individual compartments. When I first felt the bag, my impression was that it was pretty flimsy, but since I was not putting a lot of really fragile items in it, I went ahead and loaded it up. Once it was loaded and the dividers were all adjusted, the bag was a lot stronger than I was expecting. The shoulder strap was a bit frayed where the ends were folded over and sewn and will need to be trimmed up. Only time will tell how well it holds up. I am headed off on a two week trip all the way down Historic Route 66, so that should be the torture test to determine just how well this bag will hold up.

Embarrassingly flimsy construction. I must have been very tired when I brought this bag because I didn't read the reviews. The bag will not keep its shape as the dividers cannot stay in place because they are only attached with two small strdips of Velcro on each side of the bag. The dividers immediately tear away from the sides under the weight of just one canon DSLR with a 24-70 lens. Lastly the bag smells of that chemical often associated with cheap products that are manufactured in China.

Great bag! opens fully at the top, so very handy to get your gear out. Meanwhile, I have 5 body's (Canon 1D-series) and 5 L-class primes in this bag. The front outer compartment is in use for extra CF/SD cards, and all kind of other small stuff. The side bags are used for extra batteries. Its sturdy, well padded with adjustable spacers. This is a bag I love for the minimal extra weight added by this bag itself.

I bought the bag for a compact storage of camera accessories in the car. It is also a good way to keep things together in the house. It replaces two moderately sized bags and thus allows better packing of the trunk for trips. The bag is quite roomy inside and the front and side pockets (not too thick) are handy for cable releases, filters, lens caps etc. The bag seems a bit bulky to me for carrying while shooting. I would have preferred that the top handle be attached to the bag lower body instead of to the zippered top, but that isn't a deal killer for my usage.

This bag has lots of room, very durable great purchase. A gift I bought my girlfriend who is a photographer. She always carried around more than one bag for her lens and her camera was always hanging outside or around her neck. She was so happy to fit all 6 of her lenses and her camera in it as well along with all her other accessories. That includes a 70-200mm lens which is pretty big. It has removable inserts that let her choose the size of the compartments inside and she loves that. It made her job much easier.
