I wish there was a way to stabilize it without having to mount it onto the surface, but it seems to be working well other than that. A suction cup option would be nice, or a 3M type option. I really like it though!

It rocks. I have the worst time putting my hairdryer and straightener away. So I bought this to clean up my counter top. In some ways it lets me keep being lazy. My counters look so much better now that my hair styling devices have a home and are just laying on the counter. the plug on the front is great because I can plug the hairdryer and such into that and still have a left over plug on the wall for that much needed night light! Its been years since I put a nightlight up just because I needed the plug space, but not anymore. The stand itself is metal but the holder for the straighter is plastic. Using common sense I don't put my hot straightener in the plastic until it is cooled. The brush holders work well but I put makeup brushes in the smaller holes. If you have a issues putting away your morning mess this is so for you. I call it my cheat and tidy.
Price was great too, definitely got more than my moneys worth

EXACTLY what I needed! I ordered this for home use. I live in a rent house so didn't want to damage walls from hanging anything too heavy that might take some abuse from using it so often. My bathroom also has one, just ONE electrical outlet, so those 3 added plug-ins have saved me a ton of grief. I have it sitting on a side table against the wall where I get ready. Its just sitting there guys! It has holes underneath for mounting, but it's made of such heavy, quality material, I never even had to mount it. That sucker doesn't go anywhere! Price was great too, definitely got more than my moneys worth. And that doesn't happen much these days.
I try to remember to go back and at least rate the products I get from Amazon, cuz I'm a huge fan of the reviews posted. They're extremely helpful since they're coming from the ones that actually USE the product. Who'd know better than the consumer? So yes, I rate the products, but I only take the time to actually write a review when I end up with something that's either one extreme or the other........piece of crap OR somethin that I truly believe in, somethin that's really blown my dress up! This product is definitely a great one.

Very durable. Handles the heat very well. One slot is a little tight for my 1 inch curling iron. Over all, it keeps everything organized and keeps the cord tangling to a minimum.
