The Best and Most Durable Pants
Tree5•December 15, 2017
I have bought 4 of these pants in 3 different colors and the color always matches the pictures. They are extremely durable and I have worn these for months casually and for work without any loss in quality or signs of wear. The material is unbelievably tough and I have scraped my pants on many materials that would easily rip other pants like jeans. They have been through heat, snow, rain, and dozens of washes and they are still holding strong. They are extremely comfortable and breathable and I use these as a substitute to the overused Jeans everyone wears. I personally hate jeans because most are too thick, limit your mobility, and slightly shrink over time with all the washing and drying. With these pants, you can jog, stretch, play sports, hike, go camping, fishing, hunting, or do anything else with no limit to mobility or loss in comfort. They also stretch around your waist so they will still fit even if you gain a few pounds or just need the extra flexibility while being active. There are many pockets for anything you need to carry with you and even the pockets hold strong. These are by far the best, most durable, and comfortable pants I have ever worn. I am currently waiting impatiently for these to be in stock again in black and storm color so I can immediately buy some more. I bought them around the $50 price range but trust me, and all the rest of the reviews, these are WELL WORTH THE PRICE.
These newer ones are not what I ...

Have several older pairs of these (formerly) great trousers. These newer ones are not what I expected and I would have returned had I not torn off all the tags and not bothered to try on until recently.
Cargo pockets have gotten much smaller and no longer hold same smartphone older ones were large enough for. Slash pockets seem to be half as large as formerly were. Construction seems the s as me but material is a lot thinner. Will have to use as casual pant as they no longer will cut it for work purposes. Fit is cut differently and is just to small and nothing like comfort of older pant. Outside of durable seams, hard to tell difference from $20-25 pants at Wal-Mart or other low similar sources.

Sizing and fitment

Great pants! If you enjoy space as in comfort but also storage (pockets) and still look presentable for every day wear, to include an office setting, these are the pants for you! I only had 1 concern and that was sizing. I'm a true 32 (waist) but I prefer a 33 for a little extra room when wearing jeans. So I had to make a choice to go with 32 or 34; how the elastic works would determine that. I read review after review and there isn't much on how they fit. So here it is.. I went with 34s willing to accept having to tighten up the belt a bit. I tried both pairs on, black and khaki, the elastic keeps the waist band touching my waist all around loosely. Again I'm a 32. So slight tightening with a belt and they fit perfect. So in summary the waist expands to and beyond the specified size, I can say my 34s with out a belt & elastic constricted is a loose 32-33. I'm sure if I went with the 32s they'd be snug but still comfortable (the elastic is nice) and I'd only need a belt to attach and belt gear I was carrying not to keep the pants up and in place. They are a touch long in length but I enjoy that for a good wrap around the boot and not showing socks should I decide to wear shoes and throw a leg up on the opposing knee. Hope this helps out some who wear inbetween sizes.
Great all round outdoor pants

Great pants. I live in the Caribbean and I use these for hunting in rain forest environments. The material is light and cool but still feels strong/tough to stand up to some thorns, branches etc. The pants is baggy and comfortable, I normally wear a 34 waist and thats what I ordered and it fits perfectly. The pockets are deep and secure and do not buldge too much.
The waterproofing aspect works well but not perfect. It is good for light splashes or spills or even a light drizzle but I have been caught heavy rain downpours and the material does get soaked. But this is really minor for me, I'm sure if it was 100% waterproof, it probably would not be as comfortable or be breatheable.

Good pants so far, but not uniform in fit.

I've only had my first pair of these, in the tundra (a very deep, dark shade of green) since Oct. 19th or 20th, but went ahead & bought a charcoal grey pair & a stone (sort of a khaki shade) pair.
Had misgivings about the waist snap, as I've read about fails in that dept. concerning Tru Spec pants & some [other] ChiCom made ones of similar design. While I'm unlikely to put mine through a SpecOps or private military contractor type field ops level rigor, I still think/hope these pants are going to be fine, and likely would do for most ppl even under pretty good deal of phys. activity. I wear these and other tac or camo pants for gym clothes, and they do fine for me in that regard, so far.
Many of us are used to the tried and true MilSpec button closure from our service days, and/or button closures from the days of good, American made blue jeans. If these do fail me, I shall report so here. My one gripe, so far, is that the "tundra" (dark green)pair fit larger (despite all being marked as the same size) & seem to be cut differently than the charcoal grey pair and the stone color, or whatever it's called pair. I can only surmise this is yet more of the usual inconsistency to be found in clothing not made in the USA or consequently, held to American quality control standards.
