Good value, oily, and pleasantly surprised
Liz s.✓ Verified Purchase•October 24, 2023
My positive points: the packaging was easy to open, the plastic holder grips the keys, and it has a nice snap when you close it.
My negative points: the keys came covered in oil, some of the keys were bent and the ink is coming off in one spot.
All my pictures were taken right after I opened the packaging and wiped off the oil.
I had to use 2 wipes to clean off all the oil from each piece, it did come off very easily but just something to note. I know that the oil is needed during the manufacturing process, but it would've been nice for them to come cleaned.
The 3rd photo shows the 3 smallest keys and 2 of them were bent. The 4th photo shows the ink scratched off in one part and I noticed it right out of the package.
The packaging was a dream to open, I'm used to struggling with packaging with scissors and box cutters. It came in clear plastic with a cardboard backing. There was a perforated part on the cardboard that opened the packaging with out using any tools.
I was surprised that the holes in the plastic holder are round and yet it grips the keys nicely so they don't fall out. It is also easy to take them out.
Overall you get what you pay for and these are by no means professional quality but not entire garbage. I am happy with the quality I received for under $10.

Held up to me cranking to loosen screws

I bought a used Permobil power wheelchair to use when I occasionally need it. It is metric, and my tools were not. I bought this set to take off screws that were so tight that I had to crank on the wrench several times before the screws broke free with a loud "snap" sound. This 5 mm wrench did not bend, did not break. Screw after screw came off and the wrench held up to a lot of hard cranks.
Easy to hold, love the "slant" feature

I went through two other "hex" type screwdrivers before I finally bought these, and was finally able to put together my bookcase. The hex screwdrivers (who invented these things? They're horrible!) that come with DIY kits are always inadequate and too small. I have small hands, but these drivers constantly slip out of my fingers.
These have a strong solid feel to them, they're large enough to hold without dropping, and one end is a ball that allows you to screw at an angle in tight places. I couldn't have put my bookcase together without them.

I was nervous of an unknown brand, but they are great

I didn't know I néeded ball end hex keys down to 1.27mm until they were recommended to me. I needed some to tear down and rebuild a 3d printer hotend. The slightly larger ones are useful when you just can't hit the socket head screw dead on and don't want to take a thing apart. I feel like wrenches have already paid for themselves and will continue to do so.
Metric hex keys
Chris Smith✓ Verified Purchase•September 10, 2023
Well my metric hex keys apparently just got up and walked away out of my shop. I searched hard for them, found three sets of standard hex keys (one of which I didn't remember having), but they are gone.
So I ordered these. They seem fine, I haven't had any issues with the keys stripping which is good because my tools are used hard and nothing is more aggravating than a soft tool steel that strips away when tightening or loosening a bolt.
