It was not as hard to put together as other people had stated. ( Maybe it's because my husband is in the construction business and puts things together all the time.) It's so durable and very comfortable..

Ordered item December 18, 2016.Stored in basement because I live in NH. When order arrived I remembered something about receiving 1 of 2 boxes. After extensive investigation I have discovered the second box contains ALL the hardware and additional wooden cross pieces, which I do not have. Have emailed and called Leisure Season numerous times to rectify problem...no response. Customer service is non existent.

If you feel like testing the strength of your relationship, try building this hammock with your significant other. Each other's patience will be tested as you realize that the pre-drilled holes were drilled backwards, the instructions entirely skip important steps, and when you finally get to the end you realize that those instructions never told you when to put the fabric on. Take it apart and start over.
Four hours later, when you finally think you're done, you will look around your back yard only to notice four random pieces of wood that the instructions never mentioned. Good luck guessing where those go!
If you make it through this painful process, you will end up with a healthy relationship and a really nice hammock for your backyard. You will also never feel like moving from your current home because that would involve taking this devil contraption apart.

Found the best price for this on Wayfair. I didn't know it was made in China. The support beam that runs on the bottom front to back was six inches short of fitting. The hammock itself was half an inch short on one corner, so it also didn't fit. This company offers NO parts whatsoever. The two boxes weigh 100 lbs. I had to take it piece by piece from my front porch, then after hours of putting it together with horrible incomplete instructions (my son has had engineering classes and I worked construction for some time), found it useless. Glad Wayfair gave a full refund. They stated that after many complaints, they will likely discontinue selling from this company. Now we either fix the problems, or spend more hours taking it apart! UGH!
